We are an independent, not-for-profit corporation whose mission is to encourage the investing of our lives and resources in learning to "be" and "make" followers of Jesus by capturing the opportunities given to us where we live by drawing closer to God and to one another in Christian community. Your privacy is important to us.

Text Communications

We collect personal information that individuals voluntarily provide when they opt into our text message communications by registering for Christian Fellowship Community Forum, Christian Fellowship Community Breakfasts, or other Christian Fellowship Community events. This information may include names, phone numbers, and preferences related to communication. Subscribers opt-in to text communications by voluntarily completing form fields named “Cellphone (Opt-in to receive a reminder text).” Alternatively, subscribers can text us first by messaging this phone number: 630-221-0037. By providing your phone number and opting into our SMS program, you consent to receiving text messages from Christian Fellowship Community.

Terms of Service

  • Types of messages: Subscribers can expect to receive communications about updates, event reminders, resources, and opportunities related to our mission. For instance, “Your CFC Luncheon is today! After the general session, follow the signs to the BMO Pavilion. Please text back if you have questions on your reserved seat location. Reply STOP to opt out of these texts.”

  • Messaging frequency: Messaging frequency may vary, with a maximum of 4 messages per month unless otherwise specified. Certain campaigns or alerts may result in additional messages, which will be disclosed at the time of opt-in.

  • Message and data rates: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

Text messages are sent via a secure third-party messaging service (RingCentral) that adheres to industry standards for data protection (RingCentral Privacy Notice). You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying "STOP" to any message or by contacting us directly. After opting out, we will no longer send messages to the associated phone number unless you opt in again. To request help, reply with "HELP" or visit our website at christianfellowshipcommunity.org.

We do not sell, rent, or lease personal information to third parties. Information is shared only with our trusted messaging service provider to facilitate communication. If you have questions or wish to update your preferences, please contact us directly at Hannah@christianfellowshipcommunity.org.

Online Payments

We collect personal information that donors voluntarily provide to us when they make a donation. The types of personal information we may collect include donor names, email addresses, billing addresses, phone numbers, and payment-related information (such as credit card or banking information). We use a third-party payment processor (currently Stripe) when a donation is made through our website, to securely process the payment information. We do not store or even have access to donor credit card or banking information. All payment transactions are encrypted and processed securely by Stripe in accordance with its Privacy Policy (Privacy Policy (stripe.com)). Other personal information may be stored indefinitely unless otherwise requested. We store names, email addresses, billing addresses, and phone numbers in a protected (encrypted) database. Information we receive may be used to process donations and to communicate with donors regarding their donations as well as our events. We do not sell, rent, or lease any personal information to third parties. Information is only shared with trusted third-party services, such as our website operator and payment processor.
